Electrical Estimator

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Estimator and become a vital contributor to our construction projects! This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing cutting-edge estimating tools and techniques to deliver precise and reliable cost projections.

Duties

  • Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects using industry-standard software such Accubid & BuildOps.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work, materials, labor, and equipment requirements aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to negotiate pricing, scope adjustments, and contractual terms that meet project goals.
  • Conduct site visits to gather on-site data, assess existing conditions, and verify quantities for accurate cost estimation.
  • Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include cost control measures, risk assessments, and value engineering options.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction estimating best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements affecting electrical work.
  • Support project management teams by providing cost analysis insights throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budget adherence.

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years' + experience Preferred
  • Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on electrical systems within commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong background in electrical installation processes combined with hands-on construction site experience.
  • Familiarity with construction management principles, contracts negotiation, and project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards and electrical codes relevant to large-scale construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

A competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time in office Monday – Friday

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
