Electrical Estimator

We are looking to hire an electrical estimator who lives in the Michiana area with commercial, industrial, and design-build experience to estimate construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

• Turn out accurate and complete estimates in a timely manner
• Write up accurate and complete BOMs
• Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of Electrical Estimating experience
• Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-through
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments
• Extensive Knowledge of NEC and electrical construction processes
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.),
• Must have a working knowledge of electrical estimating software systems

The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

• Review building plans and their elements to make accurate price estimates for electrical projects
• Calculate the potential profitability of projects
• Answer questions for clients about their electrical work
• Share your findings through written briefs
• Evaluate the labor and materials costs of electrical projects
• Turn out accurate and complete estimates in a timely manner
• Write up accurate and complete BOMs
• Work and coordinate with entire team to ensure timely and profitable completion of projects
• Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of Electrical Estimating experience
• Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail and timely follow-through
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Able to work effectively in stressful, time-sensitive environments

Pay: From $92,000.00 per year
