Position Title: Site Engineer for Traffic Signal Works

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer specializing in traffic signal works to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the on-site execution of traffic signal projects, ensuring that installations and modifications are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution:
• Supervise and coordinate the on-site activities of traffic signal installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to plan and prepare for upcoming projects.
• Quality Assurance:
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify the proper installation and functioning of traffic signal equipment.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies on-site to maintain project quality and integrity.
• Safety Management:
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Address and report any safety incidents or concerns promptly.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Liaise with stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, site reports, and inspection results.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports and documentation as required.
• Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible for future reference.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical guidance and support to on-site personnel during the installation and maintenance of traffic signals.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to traffic signal systems.
• Ensure that all equipment and materials used meet project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with a focus on traffic signal works or related civil engineering projects.
• Proven experience in managing on-site construction activities and teams.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of traffic signal systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
