Electrical General Foreman

Safeway Electric is seeking an Electrical General Foreman (Journeyman Electrician) to join our Team. Our company has been providing electrical solutions to both commercial and industrial customers for over 45 years. This is an exciting opportunity to work if you are self-motivated, ready to lead, train and grow with our organization. We have an extremely large back log and are looking to provide the right General Foreman a long term home.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certified CA General Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required
• Preferably 7+ years’ experience as a Superintendent/Foreman or similar role of hands-on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contain assigned project(s) within Foreman/Leadman job description
• Remain familiar with Foreman procedures, acclimate new Foreman/Leadman to said procedures as assigned by Project Manager
• Perform site visits as assigned; Propose potential changes / improvements to assigned Foreman to reach the following objectives:
• Improve field technical knowledge of Foreman
• Decrease cost / Improve Install efficiencies
• Ensure client experience is positive; engage with client when possible
• Identify potential RFI’s/CO’s; actual processing will be coordinated through Project Manager
• Field appropriate Foremen questions, including but not limited to technical support
• Provide consistent feedback to Project Manager and Director of Contract Operations regarding the following key information areas:
• Client interactions, both positive and negative
• Upcoming client opportunities
• Foreman/Leadman performance and potential coaching opportunities, both for training and performance
• Project escalations that require the Project Managers interactions/attention

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:
