Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design and development, with expertise in various engineering tools and methodologies. This role involves working on innovative projects that require both technical proficiency and creative problem-solving skills. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical components and systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics and PCB layouts, using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project scheduling aligns with manufacturing timelines.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, or SystemVerilog for firmware development and debugging tasks.
- Implement signal processing techniques and work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system integration.
- Engage in quantum engineering projects, applying advanced concepts to enhance system performance.
- Perform soldering and surface mount technology (SMT) assembly for prototype development.
- Utilize simulation tools like Simulink to model electrical systems and validate designs.
- Maintain documentation of designs, processes, and test results to ensure compliance with NEC standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Kahramaa High Voltage Substation projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) for design purposes.
- Experience with FPGA design and implementation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including system design and signal processing.
- Familiarity with mechanical engineering concepts to collaborate effectively on interdisciplinary projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to electrical components is a plus.
- Experience with debugging techniques and vision inspection systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
