Electrical & Instrumentation Section Head

Birla Carbon Egypt is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Section Head to join our Maintenance Department. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical background and a commitment to operational excellence in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and optimize the operation and maintenance of field instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with international safety standards and company policies in all E&I activities.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and engineering to support plant performance and improvement initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and modernization initiatives for instrumentation and control systems to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Ensure all systems meet performance standards and align with site reliability targets.
• Oversee compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and support the development of care plans for E&I assets.
• Conduct root cause analysis for electrical and instrumentation failures and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation roles, preferably within the chemical or industrial manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience working in a multinational environment with exposure to global standards and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Residency in Alexandria is mandatory.
