Electrical Lighting Technician (Travel only)

Lighting Resources USA, Inc. is a travelling Lighting Installation Company.

Must be able to travel 75% of the time!

Pay: $17-22/hr + Production Bonus!!

Full time - Immediate Hire upon Successful Background & Drug Screening

Level 2 Security Clearance is required.

Must have availability to work Night shift from 3p-1230a

*OSHA 10 or 30 Certification desired

Job Description Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform installation and retrofitting upgrades on commercial/industrial and residential common area lighting fixtures and electrical systems.
• Working closely with Electricians, Crew Foreman, and Electrician Technicians assisting with daily work loads
• Replace electric light fixtures & parts, such as bulbs, fluorescent tubes, ballast, and drivers
• Repair fixture parts, such as switches and sockets, using hand tools; Clean fixtures and lamps
• Perform minor electrical tasks
• Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends if needed
• May operate hand and power tools of all types: a basic set of tools is recommended, portable tool belt, screwdrivers, wrenches, battery powered drills, wire cutters and wire strippers, pliers, cutters and crimpers, headband light for low light conditions
• Operate testing instruments, such as ohmmeter, multi-meter, etc.
• Operate various electric, gasoline powered equipment used in the work being performed
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach over head

Valid Driver’s License required
Must have transportation to and from jobsite
Must be able to pass Background Check
Drug Screening Required
Lift Experience preferred/ Not required
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred/ Not required
