Electrical Maintenance Engineer

1. Interior Lighting Installation

• Execute installation of various lighting fixtures such as LED profiles, spotlights, strip lights, cove lighting, track lights, and concealed fittings.
• Manage wiring and electrical integration within woodwork (wardrobes, cabinets, TV units, kitchen units, etc.).
• Install and configure drivers, transformers, sensors, and controllers.

2. False Ceiling Electrical Work

• Perform wiring, point connections, and fixture installation within false ceiling structures.
• Ensure proper placement and alignment of lighting as per design and elevation drawings.
• Coordinate with false ceiling and carpentry teams for seamless integration.

3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Identify and resolve issues related to lighting failures, short circuits, overload tripping, loose connections, and driver problems.
• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and replacement of electrical components.
• Provide timely responses for urgent site maintenance requests.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all electrical safety protocols and company standards.
• Use tools and materials responsibly, ensuring zero damage to interior finishes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with project managers, designers, carpenters, and false ceiling teams.
• Report daily progress, requirements, and issues promptly.
• Ensure tasks are completed within the scheduled timelines with high-quality results.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in interior electrical maintenance and installation.
• Strong understanding of interior lighting techniques and modern electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical and interior layout drawings.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical stream preferred.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently at project sites.
• Should be willing to travel to various locations within the city.
• Basic electrical tools should be carried by the technician.
