Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Manager – Machine Shop

Job Purpose:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all electrical maintenance activities in the machine shop. Ensure maximum uptime of CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL, conventional machines, and shop-floor utilities through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance practices while maintaining safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Management
• Lead electrical maintenance activities for CNC/VMC/HMC/VTL and other machining equipment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Minimize machine downtime through quick diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and automation issues.
• Ensure proper upkeep of electrical systems, panels, drives, PLCs, motors, and shop-floor wiring.
• Team Leadership
• Manage and guide a team of electrical technicians and engineers.
• Allocate work, monitor performance, and build technical competence in the team.
• Process & Compliance
• Maintain documentation for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, spares, and compliance audits.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and energy conservation practices.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical maintenance, and external vendors for effective resolution of issues.
• Improvement & Cost Control
• Identify opportunities for energy savings, cost reduction, and process improvement.
• Implement Kaizen/TPM/Lean initiatives related to electrical maintenance.
• Maintain optimal inventory of critical electrical spares and consumables.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC/VTL electrical systems, PLCs, drives, HMIs, and automation.
• Expertise in troubleshooting servo motors, drives, and control circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and industrial codes.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 8–12 years in electrical maintenance (at least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role in a machine shop or heavy engineering industry).
• Exposure to CNC/VMC/HMC maintenance and automation systems is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
