Electrical Maintenance – Near Kolkata

Position Overview:

The Junior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day electrical maintenance operations at the site, ensuring smooth functioning of electrical systems, equipment, and installations. The role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with technicians to ensure safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Location: Banganagar, South 24 Parganas, Kolkata

Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in industrial, manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of panels, motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems
• Ensure electrical work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and support quick resolution to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with electricians, contractors, and vendors for maintenance activities
• Monitor electrical material usage, spares availability, and proper storage
• Maintain records including maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and inspection checklists
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, statutory requirements, and company policies
• Support senior engineers in planning maintenance schedules and improvement activities
• Assist in documentation and reporting related to electrical maintenance work

Required Skill Set:

• Willingness to work on-site and respond to breakdowns when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
