Electrical & Mechanical Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller for an Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The candidate must be locally available, hold a valid QID with NOC, and be ready for immediate joining on a contract basis. The role involves managing, tracking, and distributing project documentation using approved document control systems in compliance with project and client requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Qatar as an Electrical or Mechanical Draftsman.
• QID with NOC is mandatory.
• Preferably with Oil & Gas industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD drafting, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to prepare detailed electrical/mechanical layouts, schematics, and isometric drawings.
• Good understanding of Qatar standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and modify electrical and mechanical drawings as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.
• Maintain and update drawing documentation and revisions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and safety standards.
• Assist in site surveys and technical clarifications when required
