Electrical & MEP Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical/MEP Engineer to join our consultancy team in Sharjah. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring expertise in electrical & MEP engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, supervising, and ensuring the integration of MEP systems across projects, while maintaining compliance with UAE laws and standards. Strong communication and project management skills are essential to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop MEP systems including electrical layouts along with basic HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Prepare plans, diagrams, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee commissioning of MEP systems and providing recommendations throughout the construction process.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to align project goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Seeking approvals from various Government Authorities and following up to meet all the work regulations.

Required skills and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Member of UAE Society of Engineers.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical/MEP design engineer.
• Sharjah Municipality Approved Card
• Knowledge and competence of the UAE code.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other engineering softwares.
• Strong practical knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• UAE Driving License.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
