Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical panel fabrication and welding, with experience in various techniques and tools. This role involves working in manufacturing environments, where precision and attention to detail and creating high-quality products that meet our stringent standards are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Utilize MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding techniques to join metal parts effectively.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
- Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Assemble fabricated components into final products while adhering to ASME codes and standards.
- Perform rigging tasks for lifting heavy materials using cranes and forklifts safely.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or related construction roles.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work, ductwork fabrication, and pipe threading is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics accurately is essential.
- a. Ability to execute basic wiring with upper-level direction correctly.
- Can strip, terminate, and label wires in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
- Basic electrical symbol identification skills.
- Understand basic electrical terminologies.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
