Electrical Panel Assembler

Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand electrical schematics
- Review specifications and Project requirements
- Ensuring compliance with applicable codes (UL,NEC,IEC)
- Mounting parts in enclosures
- Drill, tap and cut out backpanels and enclosures
- Routing and securing wire neatly according to layout
- Labeling components and wiring accurately
- Maintaining clean and organized build standards
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing
- Conduct functional testing (power-up checks, I/O verification)
- Troubleshoot wiring or component issues
- Verify panel meets safety and quality standards
- Complete inspection checklists
- Update redline drawings if changes are made
- Maintain wiring diagrams and bill of materials (BOM) accuracy
- Document test results
- Assist with panel labeling and nameplate creation
- Follow OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Ensure compliance with UL508A
- Apply proper lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain organized and safe work environment
- Track parts usage
- Communicate shortages or incorrect material
- Maintain tools and shop equipment
- Inspections on heavy equipment(forklifts, scissor lifts,gantry, upender, etc.)
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Attention to Detail
- Ensure compliance with UL508A and UL698A
