As a Electrical Procurement Engineer , you will support the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and securing electrical materials and equipment for major energy and construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and BOQs to understand material requirements.
• Support in preparing requests for quotations (RFQs) and follow up with approved suppliers.
• Assist in collecting and organizing quotations for technical and commercial evaluation.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure technical compliance of materials.
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers under supervision to obtain competitive prices and delivery terms.
• Prepare and update purchase orders in line with project and procurement requirements.
• Track material deliveries, documentation, and supplier performance.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
• Conduct basic market research to identify new vendors and alternative materials.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in MEP or construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of electrical materials and systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
• Professional command of English (written and spoken).
