Electrical Project Engineer

Position: Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage and oversee electrical works for construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of electrical systems in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Salary: AED 12,000 – 14,000 per month (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise electrical installation works for residential, commercial, or high-rise projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, and material procurement plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA / ADDC regulations and UAE electrical standards.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within budget and timeline.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals.
• Handle material approvals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to site teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.

Requirements:

• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical project execution within the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, MDB/SMDB installations, cable tray systems, lighting, power distribution, and earthing systems.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Familiar with UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
