Electrical Project Manager

High Volt Electric is a leading electrical construction firm specializing in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors, including schools, municipalities, and federal projects. We have been in business since 2011. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a qualified Project Manager with extensive experience to join our dynamic team.

We are based in Simi Valley, however our projects cover Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful execution and completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, possess excellent leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in public works construction.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

-Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.

Team Leadership:

-Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

-Effectively communicate project expectations, roles, and responsibilities to team members.

Client Relations:

-Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

-Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

-Address client concerns promptly and work towards solutions that align with project goals.

Risk Management:

-Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

-Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifying potential issues and devising contingency plans.

Quality Control:

-Implement and enforce quality control processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed industry standards.

-Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field (Preferred)

-Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management.

-Must have experience working on industrial projects, pump stations, and water treatment plants.

-Must have knowledge of and experience with PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers)

-Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.

-Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

-Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

-PMP or similar certification is a plus.
