Job Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following:
- Plans, organizes, and staffs key field positions for assigned projects.
- Establishes objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to complete project scope of work per contract documents.
- Analyzes bid documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) and existing site conditions to properly outline scope of work, including all general conditions and requirements.
- Identifies risks in scope of work to ensure related costs are covered.
- Manages all pre-construction requirements of projects to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Understanding of estimating process required. Prior estimating experience a plus.
- Completes and submits RFI’s, change orders, and assists accounting team progress billing requirements.
- Clearly defines and manages labor hours, material procurement, equipment needs, and customer reporting requirements.
- Reviews financial aspects of the project and makes adjustments/recommendations to work within the budget of the project to meet profitability requirements.
- Assist and guides electricians with the correct materials and equipment to complete project scope of work and provides ongoing direction.
- Conducts field visits to projects as needed to include pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, and turnover.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical/construction project management or progressive advancement in the electrical field
- Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician in the State of Colorado (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical/construction permitting, job costing and job forecasting, staffing projects
- Prior hands-on, in the field experience, to serve as a technical resource for staff.
- Excellent communication, leadership, financial and organizational skills
- Tech Savviness
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively/professionally with office staff, contractors, owners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to properly staff projects based on budget.
- Prior Estimating experience a plus.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the position, including minimal Friday and weekend hours as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
