Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Electrical Project Manager. This entry-level position is designed for someone with a strong interest in electrical project management, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced supervisors and project managers to develop the skills needed to manage electrical installation and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling electrical projects under the guidance of senior managers.
- Monitor project progress and report on timelines, materials, and workforce needs.
- Support Field Supervisors in coordinating project activities and resources.
- Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Participate in on-site training to learn safety, technical, and project management procedures.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including daily reports, work plans, and material tracking.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- No prior experience necessary; strong interest in electrical work and project management is essential.
- Willingness to learn and be trained as a project manager and leader.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to read basic blueprints or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction from supervisors.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability.
