What You’ll Do
- Manage multiple electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
- Oversee project financials: forecasting, billing, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Identify, submit, and secure approval for change orders.
- Maintain schedules, prevent delays, and accurately forecast labor needs.
- Lead pre-planning with Virtual Construction, Estimating, and field leadership.
- Manage SOVs, purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, and submittals.
- Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors; lead meetings as needed.
- Mentor project engineers and project support staff.
- Ensure thorough documentation, reporting, and completion of closeout requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of electrical project management experience preferred
- Experience with change order estimating and project accounting
- Strong understanding of contract plans/specs
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or 10–15 years of industry experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office/365, Spectrum, Bluebeam, PlanGrid (or similar)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to project sites and wear required PPE
- Ability to stand/walk on jobsites for extended periods
- Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally
- Regular, reliable attendance
