ELECTRICAL PURCHASE ENGINEER

1. Take ownership of procurement process and shall be responsible for its implementation.

. Comparison

. Negotiation

. Purchase indent to purchase order conversion

. Material follow up Supplier invoice accounting.

2. Ensure timely po conversion & procurement as per project & production requirements.

3. Accountable for the assigned product portfolios, total cost, Margin Management cost reduction etc

4. Identify & Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time & terms of trades.

5. Issue purchase orders on time, Track order fulfilment & ensure materials are delivered on time

6. Monitoring stock level & place orders accordingly

7. Collaborate with project team and engineering team to understand requirement & specification for purchasing.

8. Coordinate with the ware house team, production team, project & sales team for timely delivery of materials as per specifications provided by technical team.

9. In-depth Technical knowledge on assigned product portfolios.

10. Responsible for the purchase of Electrical/Electronics/Process Instruments (cables/electrical accessories, panel enclosure, Switch gears, Plc, Vfd, Hmi, pressure/temperature/level-transmitters, Flow meters, Mfc, Pressure gauge level gauge etc)

11. In depth knowledge on international procurement as will high sea sales Transactions Inco Terms.

12. Proficient in Microsoft office suite(Word/Advanced Excel,)

13. Proficient in ERP /SAP software’s.

14. Preferable candidate should have Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics with more than 5 years of work experience in procurement & proven experience in purchasing and sourcing.
