Job Summary
PAT Solar is seeking a results-driven Electrical Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge in solar PV systems and a proven track record in B2B sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, preparing techno-commercial proposals, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets in the renewable energy sector.
The ideal candidate should combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to drive solar project sales across industrial, commercial, and residential segments.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar PV projects (rooftop & ground-mounted).
- Generate leads through direct visits, networking, and industry contacts.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and end clients.
2. Technical & Proposal Preparation
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments.
- Prepare technical proposals, system sizing, and energy yield calculations.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for BOQ preparation.
- Submit techno-commercial offers and follow up for closures.
- Participate in tenders and RFQs.
3. Client Management
- Understand client energy requirements and propose optimal solar solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and payment conditions.
- Ensure smooth project handover to the execution team.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
- Identify new opportunities in industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline reports.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in solar PV sales or electrical project sales.
- Saudi market experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DEWA/SEWA/ADDC solar regulations is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and protection systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single line diagrams (SLD).
- Familiar with PV design software (PVsyst or equivalent).
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Soft Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
