Williams Electric & HVAC is a rapidly growing electrical contractor serving the DFW metroplex. We specialize in commercial electrical construction and service work and are known for quality workmanship, reliability, and professionalism. As we expand our service division, we’re seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and elevate our service offering to the next level.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the electrical service department.
- Oversee service technicians, foremen, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
- Schedule and dispatch service calls, balancing customer needs, technician availability, and job priority.
- Review service tickets, time entries, material usage, and job costs to ensure accuracy and profitability.
- Work closely with estimators, project managers, and leadership to coordinate service work and small projects.
- Ensure all service work complies with NEC, local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for service clients, maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues quickly.
- Identify opportunities to upsell repairs, upgrades, and small projects while maintaining trust and transparency.
- Track KPIs such as response time, close rate, revenue, margin, and technician productivity.
- Develop and enforce service procedures, pricing standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and develop service technicians, building a strong, professional service team.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and close-out of all service work.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of electrical experience, including commercial service work.
- Proven experience managing or leading an electrical service department or service team.
- Strong knowledge of the NEC, troubleshooting, and commercial electrical systems.
- Experience scheduling, dispatching, and managing multiple service calls simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of service profitability and margins.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-service skills..
- Experience with service management software (ServiceTitan experience a plus).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
