Job Title: Repair Engineer For AC DC Drives
Job Summary:
The Repair Engineer Engineer is responsible for leading the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of industrial electronic equipment such as VFDs and drive systems (AC, DC Drives). This role involves planning daily repair operations, supervising the repair team, managing warranty claims, coordinating inventory and tools, maintaining precise documentation, and ensuring high-quality testing and customer support. The role also includes system updates, reporting, and visits to customer sites to resolve technical issues.
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Certifications in Industrial Electronics or Drives (preferred).
Experience:
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in repairing industrial electronics, including VFDs, AC/DC drives, and control systems.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and testing variable frequency drives (VFDs), drive cards, and control systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.
- Knowledge of warranty policies, testing protocols, and documentation standards.
- Familiarity with using testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with inventory management systems and platforms like Salesforce, Google Sheets, or other ERP tools.

- Ability to plan and allocate tasks efficiently among the repair team.
- Strong understanding of warranty claim processing and documentation.
