Electrical Site Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Site Engineer to oversee electrical installation works on-site and ensure all activities are executed according to project specifications, safety regulations, and approved drawings. The role involves coordinating with project teams, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring timely completion of electrical works with high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all electrical works at the project site.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, etc.).
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within the project timeline.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and site regulations.
• Manage subcontractors and site workers involved in electrical installations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of site experience in electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (AutoCAD preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on construction or fit-out projects.
• Experience in UAE projects and authority regulations is an advantage.
