About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical installation, commissioning, and delivery activities on complex data center projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Medium Voltage (MV) distribution systems, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, and other critical electrical infrastructure typical of large-scale mission-critical environments.
You will be responsible for managing on-site electrical works from pre-construction through handover, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Coordination
-
Lead, manage, and coordinate all electrical installation and commissioning activities on site.

Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with design specifications.

Plan and sequence electrical works to align with overall project schedule.

Liaise daily with project managers, design teams, and client representatives.

Technical Oversight

Oversee installation and testing of MV systems (e.g., 11kV/33kV switchgear, transformers, ring main units).

Manage LV distribution, UPS, battery systems, generators, power monitoring, and BMS integration.

Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.

Health, Safety & Quality

Promote and enforce site health & safety policies and procedures.
-
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, company standards, and client requirements.

Maintain quality assurance records, test documentation, and inspection reports.

Commissioning & Handover
-
Support commissioning activities and witness testing of electrical systems.
-
Manage punch lists, defect resolution, and system turnover documentation.
-
Prepare handover documentation and as-built records.

Leadership & Reporting

Provide leadership and technical support to on-site teams.

Report progress, issues, and risks to the project management team.

Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative site culture.
Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 5–10 years of experience managing electrical works on data center, mission-critical, or industrial projects.

Proven experience with MV systems (11kV/33kV) and UPS technologies (static and rotary).

Strong understanding of electrical distribution, earthing, power monitoring, and commissioning processes
