ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR REQUIRED

Reports to: Maintenance Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

The electrical supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical work, ensuring all electrical installation, maintenance and repairs are completed safety, efficiently and in compliance with electrical codes and regulation.

The supervisor electrician and apprentices, plan daily work activities and ensure project are completed on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise and coordinate electrical activities.

- Plan, assign and inspect electrical work on site

- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and organization policies

- Read and interpret electrical drawing and schematics

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical guidance

- Review and upgrade electrical system

- Monitor work progress and report issues to management

- Maintain records of work performed and material used

- Coordinate with engineer, contractors and other trades

- Ensure electrical team adhering to policies and legal regulations

- Ability to prepare bill of quantity for minor electrical rehabilitation or new project

- Coordinates with EWA and RCS project directorate to ensure electrical needs are met

- Prepare material requisition either from store or procure from market via procurement department

- Follow up with store and procurement to ensure material delivery on time.

- Train and mentor electrician.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Good oral and written English communication.

- Good interpersonal skills

- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point

- Attention to detail

- Strong leadership

- Safety awareness

- Problem solving and troubleshooting

- Team supervision and leadership

- Ability to delegate work, track progress and provide constructive feedback

- Excellent leadership and management skill

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

- Have a Diploma on Electrical.

- Prove experiences as an electrician

- A minimum 6 years’ experience in the maintenance and operations field.

- A minimum 2 years supervisory experiences in the maintenance and operations field.

- Age is below 35 years.
