Greenland Group. is looking for Electrical Supervisor (ZAMIL SHIPYARD, SAUDI ARABIA)

Job Description / Responsibility

JOB PURPOSE

• To supervise, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the Electrical Shop.
• Ensure that the all electrical shop and onboard activities comply to applicable industry Standards.
• Coordination with QC to meet all test / contractual obligations
• Ensure work completion of work within allocated budget and schedule.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Daily Operations

• Organise and supervise the work of the all teams to ensure that all electrical activities are undertaken in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
• Ensure that the tools & materials in use are always maintained and inform segment head about any shortcomings.
• MRF to stores for material management and ensure maintain MSL for critical items / tools

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Reporting

• Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Zamil Offshore and departmental requirements, policies and quality standards.

Health & Safety

• Maintain an awareness of all health and safety rules applying to the assigned tasks and tools to ensure that safe working practices are observed.

Adequate knowledge on this job is critical to ensure safety and undertake electrical shop repair and installation activities in professional manner.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Skills Required: Supervisor/ Operator, Electrician, Shipyard, Supervisory Skills, Dockyard, Ship building in a shipyard

Experience Requirements

• 8 to 10 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Training Institutes, Travel Agent, Real Estate, Overseas Companies, Group of Companies, Chemical Industries, Fast Food Shop

ONLY SHIPYARD/DOCKYARD EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES CAN APPLY

Minimum Experience:

• 8 – 10 years of experience as Electrical Supervisor; with at least 3 years of experience in Supervision position
