Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the electrical installation and maintenance work on-site, ensuring all electrical systems are installed according to project specifications, safety standards, and within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Lead and manage a team of electricians, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure electrical work is carried out according to design and quality standards.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (e.g., power, lighting, cable systems, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
- Maintain documentation related to electrical work, including daily reports and material usage.
- Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior electrical staff.
- Ensure proper use and handling of electrical equipment and materials on-site.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical supervision, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
