Electrical Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with strong experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment including motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC/computer-controlled production equipment, specifically Modicon and Allen Bradley systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electrical equipment and components, including AC/DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, and PLC-controlled machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, diagrams, schematics, programs, and operating manuals accurately.
• Assist in maintaining and executing preventive maintenance schedules for all electronic equipment.
• Provide technical support for the design, repair, and improvement of equipment and processes.
• Ensure high standards of safety, dependability, and job attendance in all tasks performed.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and operation, particularly Allen Bradley and Modicon systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex program manuals and equipment documentation with precision.
• Dependable with an excellent attendance record.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician or Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or completion of a recognized technical training program in electrical or electronic systems is preferred.
• Proven experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred) and computer-controlled production equipment.
• Solid understanding of AC/DC motor controls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.13 - $32.68 per hour
