Job Description: Electrical Technician (Smart Systems Specialist)1. Job Objective

To execute, install, and maintain all electrical and smart building infrastructures across the project.

2. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Smart Building & Automation Systems:
• Installation and configuration of Smart Home Hubs, automated lighting controls, and smart thermostats.
• Integration of smart sensors (motion, occupancy, and leak detectors) with the central building management interface.
• Setup and termination of KNX, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi-based automation protocols to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Troubleshooting smart modules and ensuring firmware compatibility with the building's network.
• First & Second Fix Infrastructure:
• Installation of Puddle Flange Sleeves for main power cables in water tanks and fire pump rooms.
• Routing and securing conduits and back-boxes within masonry to prevent displacement during construction.
• Pulling low-voltage (LV) and smart-bus cabling, ensuring proper separation between power and data lines.
• Final Fix & Equipment Commissioning:
• Installing New Iron-Type Smart Meter Cabinets following SEC height and location regulations.
• Mounting and connecting distribution boards (DBs), circuit breakers (ACB/MCCB), and smart touch-panels.
• Installation of low-current cabling for Data, CCTV, and Fire Alarm systems.

3. Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading Smart Home Wiring Diagrams, Shop Drawings.
• Automation Expertise: Proven experience in installing and programming smart building components and IoT devices.
• System Integration: Familiarity with integrating Fire Alarms with Fire Pumps, HVAC, and Smart Building Interfaces.
• Professionalism: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in large-scale residential projects.
