Electrical Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled Electrical Technicians for one of our clients. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing advanced electrical and electronic troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidates must possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and extensive hands-on experience in identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to identify and resolve electrical and electronic malfunctions
• Analyze technical issues and implement effective corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
• Test electrical circuits, control systems, motors, sensors, and other electrical components using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and other departments to support operational requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Electrical Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician
• Strong experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, fault detection, and diagnostics
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Experience with electrical testing instruments, diagnostic tools, and control systems
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control circuits is an advantage
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices
