Electrical Technician

Position: Technician Electrician

Location: Rome, GA

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify and troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Mentor Apprentice Electricians and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 yrs experience or Technical College Certificate
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• General understanding or willingness to learn how to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Basic technology skills (familiar with or able to become familiar with google workspace and other applications)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
