Electrical Technician (Low Current / CCTV / SMTV)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with expertise in low current systems, including CCTV, SMTV, and other security or communication systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low voltage electrical systems to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, SMTV (Satellite Master Antenna TV), and other low current equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, cabling, and terminations for low voltage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and SMTV headend equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Document all installations, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician specializing in CCTV and low current systems.
• Knowledge of SMTV systems, access control, intercom, and alarm systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with tools, test equipment, and safety procedures for electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
