Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Testing Engineer with expertise in Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) and Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) to join our engineering services team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform on-site testing, analysis, and diagnostics of rotating electrical machines. The engineer will identify both mechanical and electrical faults, thereby assisting clients in ensuring the reliability of their equipment and minimizing operational downtime.
About the Role
The Electrical Testing Engineer will be responsible for a range of technical and client-facing activities, focusing on the condition monitoring of motors, generators, and other rotating electrical equipment. This role also involves actively supporting the sales and marketing functions of the company, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform Electrical Signature Analysis (ESA) and Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) on motors, generators, and rotating electrical equipment.
- Conduct data acquisition, diagnostics, and root cause analysis using Artesis and related condition monitoring tools.
- Prepare detailed test reports and provide recommendations for maintenance or corrective actions based on findings.
- Execute installation, commissioning, and calibration of Artesis systems at customer sites.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and quality procedures during all testing and installation activities.
Job Roles and Key Duties
- Demonstrate knowledge in electrical testing of HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) motors.
- Have basic understanding of the use of CTs (Current Transformers) and PTs (Potential Transformers) in the industry.
- Deliver technical presentations to customers, providing clear product education and pre-sales assistance.
- Provide post-sale technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and address technical concerns.
- Undergo training with Motor Current Signature Analysis technology from OEMs, learning the installation and commissioning of MCSA systems.
- Generate leads through a variety of marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives.
- Travel to visit potential clients, establish new relationships, and maintain existing customer connections.
- Persuade clients about the suitability of company products or services to best meet their needs.
- Record and maintain client contact data to support ongoing relationship management.
- Negotiate and close sales by agreeing on terms and conditions with clients.
- Make technical presentations, demonstrating how products address client requirements.
- Identify and develop new clients who could benefit from the company’s offerings, maximizing client potential in assigned regions.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and support for product education.
- Collaborate with design, production, engineering, and research and development departments to tailor products and services to client needs.
Requirements
- Good communication and technical skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently to attend site visits and meetings.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Solid technical background in electrical engineering.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build relationships with clients quickly.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler and possession of a valid driving license.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Bachelor’s / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of technical product sales and marketing will be considered an advantage.
- Quick learning abilities and a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
