Alta Data Technologies, LLC is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, test, and sustainment of our MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC-429/717 interface products. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who is motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced, aerospace electronics environment.

The Alta work environment is both challenging and exciting—team members are expected to demonstrate strong personal initiative, be self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

This includes the design, development, analysis, and verification of the following:

  • Digital electronic circuits for avionics interface cards and embedded systems
  • FPGA-based hardware designs
  • Digital interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I²C, etc
  • Power regulation, sequencing, and monitoring circuits
  • Test plans, prototypes, and engineering validation activities

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform schematic capture, component selection, and design documentation
  • Support PCB layout engineers with constraints, placement, and routing guidance
  • Execute hardware bring-up, debug, and signal-level testing using lab instruments
  • Work with software team for API and UI implementation.
  • Recommend and help track corrective and preventive actions
  • Follow and maintain company documentation standards and procedures
  • Follow, maintain, and improve company quality processes
  • Support production with root-cause analysis, ECOs, and component lifecycle updates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
