Electrical/Plumbing Pool Repair Technician

**Only considering Candidates with a minimum 5 years’ experience in the Pool Industry and/or Plumbing/Electrical Construction Trade(s)**

Pristine Pools, Inc. is seeking to hire an honest, hard-working and dependable candidate who enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a full-time position, working Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm, with occasional overtime.

The Repair Technician position performs:

• Diagnostic and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing and mechanical residential pool systems.
• Basic IT and programming of pool automation systems.
• Repairs to and replacement of above-ground residential pool equipment (i.e. pumps, filters, lighting, heaters, automation, etc).
• Service and routine maintenance of filtration and sanitization equipment.
• Detailed record keeping of findings and work performed in electronic workflow management system.
• Ability to self-manage and to clearly, professionally articulate technical findings and work performed to our clients.

Upon hire, our Repair Technicians must possess intermediate understanding of electricity, plumbing hydraulics and use of hand/power tools in a construction environment.

Paid, on-the-job training will be provided to gain extensive knowledge of pool equipment operation and pool system management, as well as pool water chemistry. Promotions, additional training, and additional pay may be made available for technicians who create additional value by demonstrating knowledge, experience and ability.

Repair Technicians are provided with a service truck, company cell phone, and company uniform for job-related purposes during work hours, along with the necessary tools.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Arrive at work on time each workday with a positive attitude, ready to work.
• Prepping for and executing the day’s repair jobs in a timely manner while maintaining company standards of service and customer interaction.
• Interfacing with management, as applicable, to report field work progress.
• Maintain work vehicle in a clean, organized, and stocked condition.

Qualifications and Skills

• Age 18 or over.
• Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds several times per day.
• Ability to work independently with limited direct oversight.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Experience in pool industry or related field desired, but not required.
• Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening per company standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• $28.00 - $40.00 per hour starting wage based on experience, qualifications and performance.
