Electrician

As an Electrician at InterContinental Bahrain, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical systems of the hotel to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to guest and colleague maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective action efficiently.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and other hotel systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
• Support other engineering and maintenance team members when required.
• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and contribute to sustainability goals.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Provide emergency support for electrical-related issues when on-call.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as an Electrician in hotels, facilities, or similar environments.
• Technical certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering/Trade.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, good communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to BD230.000 per month
