Electrician

Location: Los Angeles & San Fernando Valley (projects also in Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, Altadena, Alhambra, Whittier, Santa Monica)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays/after-hours shutdowns
Compensation: $23–$27/hr tool/mileage stipends for qualified roles; paid training; bonus potential

About the Role

We’re growing and looking for a hands-on Electrician who can perform apartment subpanel replacements, 100-200-300- 400–600A meter-bank upgrades (Siemens preferred), EV charger installs, and tenant-friendly service work. You’ll work directly with the owner, keep jobs moving, and help us deliver clean, code-compliant installs with tight coordination and minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do

• Replace apartment subpanels (labeling, tidy wire management, directories, inspections)
• Assist with or lead meter-bank/main panel upgrades (200-300-400–600A; Siemens ring type; UG/OH)
• Install EVSE (Level 2) and run new circuits/conduit (EMT); pull/terminate feeders (Al/Cu THHN)
• Troubleshoot branch circuits, breakers, GFCI/AFCI issues; perform safe shutdowns/lockout
• Uphold safety/NEC/CEC best practices; document with photos; close out cleanly

What You Bring

• 2+ years field experience (multi-unit/apartment work strongly preferred)
• Strong EMT bending, panel/subpanel terminations, feeder pulls, and Siemens gear familiarity
• Working knowledge of NEC/CEC 2022, grounding/bonding, and service equipment clearances
• Comfort with tablets/phones for photos, notes, simple forms
• Professional communication with tenants and building staff; reliable, on time
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to lift 35+ lbs and work in attics/MEPs

Nice to Have

• Experience with LADWP/PWP/GWP paperwork, meter spots, and city inspections
• EV charging layouts, load management, and multi-meter properties
• Bilingual (Spanish/Armenian) a plus
• California DIR Certified General Electrician or registered apprentice (or ability to obtain quickly)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
