Electrician

We are looking for experienced, apprentice electricians or helpers. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience. EFF Electric inc is a small family owned business with a focus on higher end residential remodels as well as maintenance and upkeep on all types of homes throughout the Capital Region. We pride ourselves on the continual support of repeat customers, who trust us with the safety and maintenance of their electrical systems in their homes and businesses.

Your responsibilities would include, replacing outlets and switches, installation of new circuits in finished areas of a residence or commercial building. Installation of new circuits, matching the specific areas with the proper size branch circuits, along with the proper fault protections. You would be required to handle the physical and mental demand of residential electrical work and small commercial work. You are required to be familiar with the current New York state building codes, as well as the current National Electric Code (2017).

● Basic understanding of 120v and 240v wiring concepts

● Blueprint reading

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
