Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Conduct tests using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to integrate electrical systems into building projects.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problematic.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician in both industrial and commercial environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Experience working on construction sites is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.73 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
