Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have to have experience in electrical work, including experience in commercial settings. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Perform low voltage installations for various systems including security, fire alarms, and telecommunications.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on job sites to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Has some form of Electrical experience
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and testing equipment such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
