Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, with a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of electrical tools and schematics to ensure safe and efficient electrical operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings, adhering to NEC standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters and ammeters to test and diagnose electrical issues.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely, following all safety protocols.
- Perform wiring, conduit installation, panel setup, and maintenance tasks on construction sites or existing facilities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper framing carpentry for electrical components.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and low/high voltage systems.
- Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in framing carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Construction site experience is preferred for understanding project workflows and safety procedures.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
