Electrician

1. Electrical Installation

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, MCBs, DB panels, and lighting fixtures as per project requirements.
• Execute wiring for power, lighting, HVAC connections, and equipment based on approved drawings.
• Install decorative and architectural lighting used in interior fit-out projects (LED strips, spotlights, track lights, pendant lights, etc.).

2. Reading and Interpreting Drawings

• Read and interpret electrical layout drawings, load schedules, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure installations match design specifications.

3. Testing and Troubleshooting

• Perform testing of circuits, continuity, insulation resistance, earthing, and proper load distribution.
• Diagnose electrical faults and rectify issues promptly to avoid project delays.

4. Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all electrical work complies with local authority regulations (DEWA/SEWA/FEWA standards as applicable).
• Follow company and site safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE usage, hazard identification).
• Maintain proper earthing and ensure all installations are safe and secure.

5. Coordination with Other Trades

• Coordinate with carpenters, gypsum technicians, HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams to avoid clashes.
• Assist in MEP coordination during installation of ceilings, partitions, joinery items, and decorative elements.

6. Material Handling and Inventory

• Identify material requirements, raise requests on time, and ensure proper handling of electrical materials.
• Ensure that all materials installed are approved and meet project quality standards.

7. Maintenance and Support

• Ensure post-installation checks and support during snagging and de-snagging stages.
• Provide timely rectifications based on client or consultant feedback.

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
