Electrician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on various projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Conduct tests using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local building codes.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical installations.
• Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician in both industrial and commercial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical work.
• Experience with frame carpentry may be beneficial for certain projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards is essential.
