Electrician

Role Summary

Responsible for performing LV/MV cable jointing, termination, and electrical installations as per DEWA standards. Ensures high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and supports site teams in electrical infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform LV & MV cable jointing, termination, splicing, and heat-shrink work as per DEWA requirements.
• Execute installation of cables, pillars, panels, RMUs, transformers, and related equipment.
• Follow DEWA-approved procedures, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and support DEWA inspections for jointing works.
• Conduct cable tests (IR, continuity) prior to and after jointing.
• Maintain proper safety practices (PPE, LOTO, grounding, barricading).
• Support electrical supervisor/engineer in site activities and reporting.

Requirements

• DEWA-certified LV/MV Cable Jointer (mandatory).
• 3–8 years of experience in DEWA infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of DEWA materials, jointing kits, and installation methods.
• Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions.
• Good safety awareness and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
