Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with low and high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and adherence to NEC standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working safely and efficiently in dynamic environments, utilizing hand tools and power tools to complete projects accurately.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to perform electrical work effectively.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems while following all safety protocols and NEC regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks within project specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
- Adhere to safety standards on construction sites or industrial environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Industrial or Commercial Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with construction site work, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and framing carpentry is preferred.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills; and testing devices like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or industrial facilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and translate them into practical applications on-site. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
