Job Description – Electrician (Dubai, UAE)

Position Overview

Expride Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician with 3–4 years of UAE experience to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be experienced in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential, commercial, or fit-out projects. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, be safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, repair, and maintenance works according to UAE standards.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and distribution boards (DB).
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out corrective repairs efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Assist in fit-out, construction, or facilities maintenance tasks as required.
• Test electrical systems using proper tools and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Report faults, required materials, and completed work to the supervisor or site engineer.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and procedures at all times.

Job Requirements

• 3–4 years of proven electrical experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, DEWA regulations, and local safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and testing equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills: must know Hindi/Urdu
• Physically fit and capable of performing site-based work.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Practical training or certification in electrical systems is a plus.
