Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Electrician to manage end-to-end electrical systems for residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of building electricals—from initial house wiring and the installation of Main Distribution Boards (MDB) to ongoing maintenance and complex fault diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Installation & House Wiring
- Execute full-scale house wiring projects, including conduit installation, cable pulling, and final "second-fix" (switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures).
- Read and interpret blue-prints, circuit diagrams, and architectural plans to ensure accurate placement of electrical points.
- Ensure all wiring complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

2. MDB & Panel Work
- Assemble, install, and terminate Main Distribution Boards (MDB), Sub-Main Distribution Boards (SMDB), and Final Distribution Boards.
- Perform busbar trunking, circuit breaker installation, and ensure proper load balancing across phases.
- Update and maintain accurate panel directories and labeling for all circuits.
3. General Building Electrical Work
- Install and maintain containment systems, including cable trays, trunking, and conduits.
- Manage earthing and lightning protection systems for the building structure.
- Coordinate with other site contractors (plumbers, HVAC) to ensure seamless integration of services.
4. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including short circuits, overloads, and grounding issues.
- Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters to identify root causes.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize system downtime and safety hazards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in three-phase power systems and MDB internal architecture.
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to trace complex faults in existing systems.
- Safety Mindset: Deep understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70/NEC or BS 7671) and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights (ladders/scaffolding), and handle power tools with precision.

- Comfortable working outdoors or in unfinished building environments.
