JOB DESCRIPITION

Overview

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in interior fit‑out, residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring safe and compliant execution.

Key Responsibilities

Install wiring, conduits, trunking, cable trays, switches, sockets, lighting, and DBs.

Execute electrical works as per drawings, load schedules, and specifications.

Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements.

Conduct routine inspections and ensure safe system performance.

Test electrical systems using appropriate tools.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Interpret electrical drawings and maintain work records.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.

Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot faults.

Good understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes.

Physical stamina and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Trade certificate, diploma, or vocational training in electrical work.

Minimum 10 years of electrical installation/maintenance experience.

Experience in interior fit‑out or construction is an advantage.

Familiar with local electrical regulations.

Salary

AED 1,800 – 2,500
